This cake was definitely one of my most challenging ones yet - it was also my entry for Cake Fiesta Manila's Sculpted Cake Competition last November 2019, where I won Gold and First Place!
The details on this cake took me days. His face was my favorite part to paint because it brought him to life, but I also liked making his book and flyer. The green spikes at the base are made of cake-filled ice cream cones and modeling chocolate - I tried to make it look like that scene from the movie where he comes up from the fake grass!
